- Rehabilitation Centres and Training facilities

The Fatherhood Foundation of SA is positioning to acquire property for a fully functioning, self sustaining Rehab and Training Centre to deal with the large influx of people in need. Drug addiction, alcohol abuse, domestic violence cases and such like require a dedicated facility. For most who face addiction issues, whether it is alcohol or drugs, there are often emotional issues that caused initial dependence on drugs or alcohol. Because the underlying emotional problems that cause addiction and drug dependency are far more powerful than the temporary physical desire to resume drug or alcohol use, seeing a therapist or counselor who can help you confront and work through these issues is of utmost importance. - Community Conferences and Programmes Fatherhood programmes developed for communities targeting Youth / Young Adults, Married Couples and Single Parents. - Motivational Talks A workforce that understands their personal position in the company creates a team that is productive and inspired. These talks are implemented from, and tailored to, management level through to general workforce level. - Fatherhood Mentoring and Training People who understand the important influence a healthy family, and in particular, Fathers, have on their upbringing are motivated and more likely to be fully committed to the task. Great leaders at home make great leaders at work. - Corporate Development Great leaders at home make great leaders at work. Key principles of leadership, taken from a Fathers perspective, which both men and women can apply successfully. - Industrial Theatre A creative and interactive presentation to the entire workforce that showcases challenges and encourages participation from the audience to resolve these in a fun, yet impactful manner. Edu-tainment. Workforce are encourage to participate, adding to the learning experience. - Youth Drama and Dance Workshops To empower young people through creative means. Used as a medium to get young people to tell their ‘Fatherhood’ stories in a creative and meaningful way. - Women in Fatherhood Women in Fatherhood has been developed to speak directly to all women on their role as ‘Gatekeepers’ within a Fatherhood context. - Fathering to Prisoners and Fathering from Prison The Department of Correctional Services has estimated that over 400 000 children under age 18 have a parent who is in prison, jail, on probation, or on parole. Given these numbers, it is important to understand how children and their caregivers are affected by the criminal activity of a parent and their subsequent arrest, incarceration, and release. Additionally, it is important to know which services and assistance might be available to those under criminal justice supervision to help them be better parents and to return successfully to the community. FFSA is in the process of developing and registering a program that helps paroled and freed men to reintegrate with their communities and more importantly, their families. - International Men's Day A few the Fatherhood Foundation of SA instituted the inaugural Dad of the Year national awards. it was our way of celebrating International Mens Day and was held in partnership with the Department of Social Development Gauteng. Since 1999 the methods of commemorating International Men's Day have included public seminars, classroom activities at schools, radio and television programs, Church observances, peaceful gatherings and marches, awards ceremonies, and art displays. International Men's Day has the potential to become the global medium to heal our world. The concept and themes of IMD are designed to give hope to the depressed, faith to the lonely, comfort to the broken-hearted, transcend barriers, eliminate stereotypes and create a more caring humanity
